Lovin' the Lake

We've been lucky enough to spend some great lake time this year! First, Annie and Rowan came to town for a visit and invited us to their cabin at Hayden. This was a baby reunion as Rowan, Charley, and Ava were all there. The boys started the morning off with a dip in the pool.
Then Aiden and I ventured down to the lake. We started out by just dipping our feet.

But then Aiden decided he wanted to sit down in the water.

He was actually laughing as the waves came up to shore and into his lap. He wasn't so sure about the bigger waves after boats went by, though. We'll save those for next year!

Aiden ended his day by enjoying the view with his buddy, Rowan.

Up next, we got to spend some time with the McIntyres at their cabin on Coeur d'Alene. This was a big weekend of firsts for Aiden since it was his first overnight, his first camp fire, and his first boat ride!
