6 Months Old

Our little love bug is 6 months old. I can't believe it. He's officially no longer a newborn! He weighs 18 pounds, 9 ounces (67th percentile), and is 27 1/2 inches long (82nd percentile). He is following the curve on his growth chart perfectly! We are loving every second of watching him explore and learn new things.

This month Aiden attended his first G-Prep football game with the McIntyres. Apparently my necklace is more entertaining than the game! Personally, I couldn't agree more! ;)

But don't worry. Aiden is a football fan, after all. He LOVES watching football with his daddy.

Although he's not crawling yet, Aiden is on the move. He rolls everywhere! No more putting him on a blanket and expecting him to be in the same spot 5 minutes later!

He is also LOVING solid foods. So far, he has had butternut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, peaches, and his all-time favorite: avacados. He is beyond obsessed with them! He is a great eater. He just sits patiently in his Bumbo while we get his food ready and then eats it without even making a grab for his spoon. He learned early on that he wouldn't get any food by trying to pull it out of my hand. :)

Aiden has also started giving us kisses this month. Granted, he does it with his mouth wide open, but they are actually intentional. He doesn't bite, just gives our lips a little lick. He sometimes does it with both of his hands on our faces, which obviously melts our hearts!


He continues to be a happy little boy; smiling and giggling unless he's hungry or tired. It seems like he gets bigger every day. We have so much fun playing with our little man and watching him grow!
