9 Months

Grow Bear

At 9 months, Ava weighs 17 pounds 11 1/2 ounces and is 28 inches long. This has been a big month for Ava! She started going from a sitting position onto her belly and has even started scooting any way but forward, which is pretty frustrating for her. She tries to get onto her hands and knees, but ends up falling before she moves. She's still not into rolling over in either direction, but at least she's on the move. Towards the end of the month, she started pulling herself up onto short things like the toy bin, although she's still pretty unstable. She also started going from her belly back to a sitting position. 

Ava also started waving and throwing her hands up in the air when we say, "All done!" 

Although Ava hasn't sprouted any new teeth yet, she is still gnawing on everything she can get her mouth on. Now that she has 2 bottom teeth, her bites hurt! She loves to bit my chin if I'm holding her and my legs if I'm on the floor with her. Ouch! In this shot, she was growling while biting her reflection. Too funny!

Warm weather has meant fun days outside. I love my happy girl!
