Wow, this has been a HUGE month for Aiden. I cannot believe how much he has blossomed in such a short time! A couple of days after his 10 month birthday, Aiden started pulling himself up on to everything. It's so funny to watch him, as he uses his hands and his mouth to do it! Once he's up, he's pretty mobile and has started to walk between furniture. He will also walk with us if we hold his hands. His balance still needs some work, so no standing on his own just yet. I'm pretty certain he'll be sticking with the army crawl until he can walk. He'll get onto his knees before pulling himself up, but otherwise, he'll just pull himself across the floor, which he's very fast at these days!
Aiden has also been VERY verbal this month. He talks all the time! I love listening to him babble, especially when we're driving in the car. He also loves to "read" books. Most of the time they sound like this: "Di ba di ba di ba di ba!" Adorable! We can sometimes get him to repeat words as well. The other day, he was holding Eric's watch, and we kept saying "watch" over and over again. He finally joined in and gave it his best effort with, "Waaa!" We're pretty sure he's a genius! ;) He also loves to clap now, and will do so any time we say "Yay!"
Aiden still loves to give hugs and will usually oblige his dad and I when we ask him for a kiss, which is still a big, opened mouthed one. Love it! As you can see, Aiden also loves hugging stuffed animals. I handed him an old teddy bear Eric gave me years ago, and he was absolutely elated and gave it a huge hug, complete with a little back patting. Beyond adorable!
Unfortunately, our poor little love bug caught his first cold this month. Actually, he caught 2 colds back to back. He had a stuffy, runny nose and a horrible cough for about 3 weeks. It was so sad! He still maintained his happy demeanor through it all, though. He's such a trooper!
After all of the growth he made this month, I'm so excited to see what the next month has in store for our little muffin. I am in complete shock that he's almost 1! Your parents always talk about how fast kids grow up, but you never truly understand until you have kids of your own!

That last picture just depicts who Aiden is! He is one of the most loving and lovable baby boys ever! His one arm hug with the other arm pat is the cutest. You two are raising a very sweet little guy! Happy almost 1 to your darling son!

Almost a year. It has gone fast, but at least you and Eric are enjoying and appreciating every minute of it.
