Merry Christmas!

As is tradition, we spent Christmas Eve with the Byrds at Nana and Papa's house. This year, Aiden had Bridget for the cousin gift exchange and Bridget had Aiden! She spoiled him rotten with puzzles and some new slippers!

The highlight of Aiden's Christmas Eve was when Santa took the time to say hello during his very busy evening. Aiden was ecstatic when he walked in and ran up to him to give him big hugs!

Santa got Aiden a Lego Farm set, which he loved!

Because Aiden loves playing the piano at Grandma and Grandpa's house, I gave him my old toy piano for Christmas. We don't have many pictures from Christmas morning, but I think this one pretty much sums up Aiden in the morning.

He doesn't always wake up in the best mood (just like his mama) and he HATES bright lights. So he makes the face in the picture above and whines, "Bight! Bight!" So funny. Don't think all Aiden got was a hand-me-down for Christmas. Santa also brought an iPad for Aiden and mommy to share! Pretty exciting!

When we flew to Hawaii, Auntie Jessi got Aiden a mushy little light up toy that Aiden named "Sam." He is in love with Sam and I had to buy a few back ups for the times we couldn't find him. Imagine Aiden's surprise when he found a huge version of Sam in his stocking! This was probably Aiden's favorite gift and he was promptly named "Big Sam."

Up next, we headed to Damma and Dampa's house. Aiden was spoiled rotten! Auntie Higgy and Uncle Matt got him a shopping basket full of produce and a really cool Elmo book.

Aiden got a fire truck that makes noises and a huge tool bench of his very own from Damma and Dampa. Ever since we finished our basement, Aiden has wanted to be just like his Dada and now he has all the tools he'll ever need!

Aiden's Christmas ornament this year!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and were so blessed to be able to spend it with our family!
