Hike With My Girl

Today Ava and I headed to the switchbacks for a little afternoon hike. Little did we know we were going to get caught in a huge downpour! We made the most of it and took shelter under the trees where Ava took it upon herself to teach me "The Warrior Way." At one point, she slipped off of a log and fell into a little stream. She hopped right back up and said, "It's ok. That's the Warrior Way!" When we got in the car, I thanked her for the adventure and she said, "Any time!" This is my favorite thing about Ava. She is literally up for anything, any time. I hope she never loses her sense of adventure.
